Snowman Post
Hi Everyone!
Have you been working frantically on your Christmas cards? Do you have a really long Christmas card list? I think I need about 60 cards this year…. and I’m a few short… so I’ll be making some more cards this week (in addition to finishing up my Christmas shopping)… Oh well, what would I do if I wasn’t behind???
Well this year I did something different… Every year I mass produce my Christmas card – I make 60 of the same card…. This year I made a bunch of different cards. I got an SEI card kit that was too cute not to make – so then I bought some cute papers and then some other stuff.. so I have a bunch of different cards. I think it was more challenging to make them all but I don’t know that I will do it this way next year.
So my snowman card is one where I borrowed a stamp from a friend – I’ve been trying to do some Tim Holtz stuff since I find it very challenging…. I don’t know that I’ll want to give this card away though.. .:)
And here’s the SEI snowman card
Hope you enjoyed my Snowman cards! Have a wonderful christmas & happy 2014!!!!
Hi! It’s Jennifer – I haven’t posted in a long time! I’ve been busy & haven’t had much time to craft. I’ve been very thankful for my awesome design team who has done a great job with each of the themes!
So November’s theme was to do a thank you card or thanksgiving theme. I didn’t have a thanksgiving stamp so I went with thank you…
I went to the scrapbook expo yesterday (had a great time & bought way too many goodies to play with) so I wanted to use some of my new stuff.
Here’s my card:
I used my new Tim Holtz leaf die on some suede paper from SEI. Then I cut some with regular paper and inked them with my new distress inks. Then layered with pop dots. Stamp is stampin up.
I think it needs something else but I can’t quite put my finger on it. If you have ideas let me know!!
Have you been shopping lately?
Have a great rest of your weekend!
Jennifer
